Vastu Guest Room Tips

We Indians believe in Atithi Deva Bhaba. So it must be stated that the guests are the most respectful person for the host people. We regard Guest as a family member. We welcome them with warmth. We have all the responsibilities to host the guest properly. In that case we need to make and prepare everything separate for the guest. Guest rooms belong to the guest. It is not different from the other rooms of the house. Though it requires following Vastu rules. It helps guest to enjoy their stay. We plan for a guest room in the house. The rich can build a guest house. But the common people can only build a guest room.

The guest room must not be constructed at the Southern – Western side of the house. It is the place for the owner of the family.

The most suitable place for your friend is the corner of North-West side. So it is the best place for a Guest room. So people are advised to make a proper and separate room for the guest.

If you want to construct this room towards South then you should consult with a Vastu advisor. A suggestion from an experienced is always welcome to the common people. You may also plan the room for your friend towards the South East direction. If your guest is not marriage couple then you can also plan for Northern-Eastern side.

We must provide a bathroom at the Guest room. It is not ideal to come outside for the guest at the needy time. If it happens then it may effect on our privacy. But is not a point regarding the vastu shastra.

You can set up a bathroom at the Nairuthi side if your guest room situated towards the Northern Western side. But, you should consult before with Vastu advisor. In case your guest room is located towards vayavya then you should provide a window towards Northern Eastern corner at Northern side or Western side.

If your guest room located at Agneya then you must provide window towards Southern Eastern direction or South. If your window is towards the Southern Western direction it has not any adverse effect.

As per Vastu Shastra the door of the guest room must have in right direction. This means Northern Eastern door to the Eastern direction, Northern Eastern door to the Northern side, Southern Eastern door to the Southern direction and Northern Western door to the Western side. You should use proper colours for colouring the guest room. It may be lemon yellow, sky blue, green or orange. Electrical instrument must be located towards the Southern Eastern side of the guest room.

The guest room must be such that people arriving there must not become ruling. If the guest located in the wrong direction then the guest may settle in the room and may also put back the owner of the house. The vastu of the guest room make easy both host and guest for cooperating each other. It builds a surrounding which helps the guest adjusting with the family members.
